LAHORE - A special sitting will be held at the Aiwan on Wednesday (today) to mark the death anniversary of Pakistan Movement worker Rana Abdur Raheem.
The Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust have jointly arranged the event that would be presided over by NPT Chairman Rafique Tarar.  Speakers are Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, Justice (r) Khalilur Rehman, Justice (r) Sardar Muhammad Dogar, Ch Naeem Hussain Chattha, Khan Ghulam Dastgir Khan, Justice (r) Sheikh Khizr Hayat, Kh Mahmood Ahmad Advocate, High Court Bar President Shafqat Chohan, Lahore Bar President Ch Muhammad Ishtiaq and Law Minister Rana Mashhood.
Also, a speech contest among students will be held in connection with the death anniversary of Quaid Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The title of the contest is “Mutahid ho kar hum Pakistan ko dunya ki azeem tareen saltanat bana saktay hain”. The Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust will jointly organize Quran Khawani for Dr Majid Nizami on Thursday at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i- Tehreek-i-Pakistan.
