LAHORE - PML-Q president Ch Shujaat Hussain, while commenting on the statement of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, said that for the first any COAS has so openly clarified his stance about terrorism and foreign forces involved in it.
In a statement issued here Friday, Ch Shujaat said the Army Chief has stated that foreign forces should refrain from destabilising Pakistan and forces inimical to the country will be defeated. The terrorists will not find any place to hide and their sympathisers and financial helpers will be dug out. The military will go to any limit for establishing the writ of the State and Balochistan will be made cradle of peace.
Announcing full support to the statement of the Army Chief, Ch Shujaat Hussain said that prior to this statement no leadership had enough courage to expose the people behind this drama. He said hopefully the eyes of the forces mentioned by the Army Chief will now be opened. He said no leader was paying attention towards it due to political exigencies.
He said that two problems have been left within the country i.e. Karachi election and the Judicial Commission as nobody is paying attention to real problems of the people which are terrorism, law and order, loadshedding, price hike of essential and other articles, unemployment and over-billing.
Ch Shujaat said there is so much dirt in politics that no leader cares about it. He said recently 20 poor labourers were mercilessly murdered in Turbat.
