LAHORE A 40-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping into in the lake situated in Minar-e-Pakistan ground here on Thursday, police and eyewitnesses said. Eyewitnesses told the police that the woman, yet to be identified so far, jumped into the lake after taking a stroll in the ground. The police and Edhi officials rushed to the spot and pulled out her dead body after hectic efforts. The police have removed the body to the morgue and are investigating.
