LAHORE – Robbers shot at and wounded two men on offering resistance during an armed robbery attempt here in Shadbagh area, police source said on Thursday.
Five dacoits barged into the house Saudi Arab-returned Pakistani Haji Khalid in Shadbagh police vicinity on Friday morning.
The robbers held up the family members at gunpoint and collected cash and gold ornaments worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.  When the robbers tried to flee, some local residents offered resistance. 
The bandits opened fire at them and fled away.  As a result, two men, identified as Tayyab and Rahman, sustained bullet wounded and were rushed to a local hospital. The police are investigating.
