Two persons, a doctor and his son were killed when unknown armed men opened fire at their vehicle here in Lahore on Monday morning.
According to details, Dr Ali Haider, an eye specialist hailing from Gulberg area of Lahore was on his way to drop his son to school in his car when unknown motorcyclists sprayed bullets at his vehicle near FC College at Zahoor Elahi Road.
As a result of firing Dr Ali Haider was killed on the spot while his son Ali Murtaza sustained serious wounds.
The injured was rushed to Services Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Police officials said that the incident seems to be outcome of personal enmity. The police registered a case into dual murder and started search for the murderers.
