LAHORE - PML-Q leadership proposed on Friday trade volume between Pakistan and South Korea be doubled in an effort to expand cooperation between the two countries. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi expressed these views in a meeting with South Korean ambassador to Pakistan, Song Jong Hwan, at their residence. During the meeting views were exchanged on matters of mutual interest and relation between the two countries. Welcoming the foreign dignitary, PML-Q leaders expressed gratitude toward the government and people of South Korea for good treatment of the Pakistanis residing there. Chaudhrys told the envoy the people of Pakistan attached high importance to good relations with South Korea. They expressed the hope that effective steps would be taken for expansion of cooperation in the various fields with South Korea, notably in trade.
