LAHORE (PR) - Prof. Basir Chands book Public Policy Conceptual Framework has been launched under Statesman Institute, Islamabad, banner for graduate level students of public policy, economics, political science, management, public administration and sociology. The book is equally beneficial for all the decision makers, policy makers, parliamentarians, legislators, bureaucrats and politicians. Public policy science relatively is a new subject in Pakistan while the same subject is being taught in advanced civilised nations and they, with the help of this subject, have pulled themselves out of the ruins of World War I. Currently, Prof Basir Chand is a Senior Research Fellow and a Managing Director at the Statesman Institute; a policy analysis think-tank. He is also a visiting faculty at the Institute of Information Technology at Quaid-i-Azam University.
