Anti-dengue drive


District Coordination Officer Naseem Sadiq has said that the anti-dengue drive is continuing in full swing in all nine towns of the city and surveillance of graveyards, junkyards, drains and parks is continuing. The DCO directed officials to seal the spot for 15 days from where dengue larva was detected.
He expressed these views while chairing a meeting to check the performance of Gulberg, Aziz Bhatti and Data Gunj Bukhsh Towns regarding dengue drive. The meeting was attended by EDO Health, DO Health and Deputy District officers of related town, Entomologists and other. The DCO directed officials to check parks, junkyards, graveyards on daily basis and create awareness among citizen to eradicate dengue. He also dismissed four data entry operators of Aziz Bhatti Town on the complaint of Deputy District Officer.
