Fruit, vegetable vendors continue overcharging

LAHORE – Overcharging in Sunday bazaars as well as in open markets has become a routine as negligent government authorities have no will to implement the official rate list.
Both the city district government and the market committees have failed to check overcharging in their jurisdictions. The visitors of the Sunday bazaars complained that the vendors were overcharging them and no administrative staff check or stop them.
