LAHORE Law-enforcement agencies arrested two terror suspects in Shahdara police precincts on Wednesday. The arrested terrorists, identified as Qari Shakirullah and Qari Abdul Jaleel Mehsud, were to kill those religious scholars, who issued fatwas against suicide attacks, a security source revealed to The Nation, adding that two suicide jackets, five Russian-made hand grenades, and three pistols were recovered from their possession. They were residing in a rented house since few weeks and had links with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, he added. The apprehended terrorists had been shifted to an unknown place for further investigations.
