Salman Taseer asks Punjab govt to fulfill constitutional obligations

Punjab Governor Salman Taseer has advised the provincial government to perform its constitutional obligations. In a letter written to Punjab Chief Minister, the Governor has drawn the attention of the Shahbaz Sharif to the locking up of courts by the lawyers. He said police and administration were more like a silent spectator and expressed his disappointment the way government was being run in Punjab. The Governor further wrote, "Consultation is a part of democratic set-up which is not seen here."
