LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami three-day congregation at the Minar-e-Pakistan will commence with the address of Akhwanul Muslimoon chief on Friday, as per the schedule announced by JI on Monday.
JI Cheif Sirajul Haq will present a “Peoples Agenda” on evening on the opening day, aiming at building Pakistan as Islamic welfare state. In all, there would be ten sessions during the three day moot.
On the second day, there would be an international session at which leaders and representatives of the Muslim movements and different Muslim countries would address. On the same day, there would be an international Women conference at which representatives of Women organizations from all over the world would participate. There would also be a national session on the same (second) day which would be attended by leaders of major political and religious parties of the country. –Staff Reporter
There would be special sessions on “the Message of the Quran and Sunnah” on the both days.
On the concluding day (Sunday), at one p.m. the JI chief, Sirajul Haq would unfold his line of action for the revival of the Pakistan movement, the strategy to realize the real objectives before the struggle for this separate Muslim homeland.
The students wings of the JI, the Islami Jamiat e Talaba and the Jamiat e Talaba e Arabia, besides the JI youth body, Shabab e Milli, will present special programmes at the Ijtema.
