Langah calls on Pervaiz

LAHORE - Senior leader of PML-Q, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that he had taken several steps for the development of the Southern Punjab during his stint in power. He expressed these views while talking to Taj Muhammad Langah, chief of Saraiki party who called on him at his residence on Sunday. Ch Pervaiz said that he took special interest in addressing the problems of the backward and far-flung areas of the province and he initiated several mega projects in this regard. However, the current provincial govt has stopped the funds of the projects that were initiated in his govt. He said he wanted to bring the areas of the S Punjab at par with the provincial metropolis. and he will do the same if he comes to power again. Taj Muhammad Langha on this occasion thanked Ch Pervaiz Elahi for PML-Qs support for a new province based on the areas of Southern Punjab.
