Imran Khan will be sent to Raiwind Markaz to make him a better person: Abid Sher Ali

LAHORE: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Tuesday said that Imran Khan, if he stages sit-in in Raiwind, would be sent to preaching centre in hope of him becoming a better human being.

Talking to media persons at an international conference organised over in-time flood warning in Lahore, the minister criticised PTI chief over his sit-in call at Raiwind in Panama leaks matter.

No dignitary is ready to be a part of a commission to probe Panama leaks issue owing to Imran’s criticism, he added.

He said that PTI leader would target the commission members if the verdict does not favour his stance.

While talking about power outages, the minister said that the people would have to bear at least six to eight hours long loadshedding during summers.

However, he added that the government was trying to convince traders to shut shops at 8pm to conserve power for domestic customers.
