Fire erupted in Excise and Taxation office on Monday, reducing the Director Excise and Taxation Motor Branch to ashes.  An official said that it was yet to be established as to what the reason behind fire was. However, sources cited short-circuit as reason. As per E&T office, there was no loss of record.
