Jamat Islami Ameer Syed Munawar Hassan has urged the government to resume talks through ulema adding the military operation could not resolve any problem. Talking to media after condoling with the son of Mufti Sarfaraz Naeemi, JI chief said the government should inform the nation that the suicide attackers who are attacking religious scholars and places are linked with Taliban on someone else. Munawar Hassan said the media should be allowed coverage of the areas in which the operation is going on, as the nation could not depend on the briefings of the ISPR. He expressed surprise over late action against Baitullah Mehsud.
