EVS expanding to 14 more districts

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - The Punjab Education Foundation will expand its Education Voucher Scheme to 14 education-wise backward districts where 15,000 deserving students will get free education. At present, 25,000 students are being given free education in Lahore, Kasur, Multan and Rawalpindi under EVS. PEF chairman Raja Anwar stated this while presiding over a departmental meeting about expansion in EVS at his office on Saturday. The meeting was apprised about the proposed expansion in the EVS through which Rs 5m will be spent on 15,000 students every month.
