29 more cases surface

LAHORE  - The menace of dengue continued to haunt people as 29 more were tested positive for the deadly virus on Saturday, taking the number of confirmed cases in the province to 452.  So far 342 cases have been reported from Rawalpindi, 50 from Lahore and 33 from Sheiikhupura.
Renovated: Bilqees Sarwar Foundation has renovated Mayo hospital’s East Medical Ward. The institution has provided new beds, installed centrally air-conditioning system and auto-supply system of Oxygen at every bedside besides provision of bio-medical equipment and establishment of a 10-bed ICU.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Kh Salman Rafiq lauded the humanitarian services of Bilqees Sarwar Foundation.
Vice Chancellor KEMU Prof Faisal Masood and veteran medical teachers including Prof Kh Sadiq Hussain (who did graduation from KEMU in 1942), Prof Akhtar Khan, Prof Mehmood Ali Malik, Prof Zafarullah Khan, Prof Asad Aslam Khan, Prof Irshad Hussain Qureshi, faculty members, principals of different medical colleges, doctors, students of KEMU and pattern-in-chief of the Foundation Bilaqees Sarwar attended the ceremony.
