LAHORE: A consultancy contract has been signed between the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) and the Gujranwala Waste Management Company (GWMC) which aims at provision of all kind of professional and technical support to GWMC by LWMC to help improve Solid Waste System in Gujranwala.LWMC MD Khalid Majeed and GWMC MD Dr Ata-u-Haq signed the agreement during a ceremony held at head office. On this occasion, Haq said that LWMC is a role model for the country and the GWMC is seeking to take benefit from its experienced professionals to improve SWM in Gujranwala. Moreover, senior officials from Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) and Sialkot Waste Management Company (SWMC) also visited LWMC to take briefing on SWM in Lahore. Delegation was comprised SWMC Chairman Mansha Allah Butt, MD Rana Azhar, DCO Sialkot Nadeem Sarwar, MD FWMC Amjad Awan and Manager Operations Dawood Makki.
