LHC orders arrest of accused involved in power theft worth Rs 34.8 million

LAHORE  - The Lahore High Court on Thursday ordered to arrest an accused involved in electricity theft case worth Rs 34.8 million.
Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi passed these orders and directed the law-enforcement agencies including police to produce the accused before the court on January 2, 2014.
Earlier, the law officer of the LESCO told the court that the accused involved in the electricity theft case and there were ample proofs against him.
The lawyer said that the accused was not appearing before the trial court after obtaining the interim bail. The lawyer requested the court to cancel his interim bail and ordered the police to produce the accused before the trial court after arresting him. Justice Mazahar reviewed the case record and cancelled the bail.
