Lahore docs feel the pain of Peshawar families

LAHORE: Young Doctors Association arranged a condolence reference for martyrs of Peshawar at Lahore General Hospital Friday.  YDA announced putting off strike to express solidarity with the bereaved families. PGMI Principal Prof Anjum Habib Vohra along with a large number of doctors joined in. President YDA LGH chapter Dr Altumash, Dr Hammad Nasir, Dr Saleem and other office bearers addressed the participants.
Prof Anjum Habib Vohra said that the entire nation was grieved at Peshawar carnage but this sad incident has also given a chance to stand united against such barbarianism. He hoped that Pak Army’s resolve and government commitment would help completing mission of curbing the menace. Dr Altumash said that innocent students have gathered the whole nation on one platform. Now every citizen of Pakistan has only one voice which is to crush these enemies of humanity.
Dr Hammad Nasir said that the nation and army was on one page to make operation Zarb e Azab a success.  Dr Saleem and other speakers demanded the politicians to join hands for the common cause of defeating terrorists. Prays were offered for eternal peace of the departed souls and early recovery of the injured.–Staff Reporter
