UN, OIC urged to stop Israel from committing Gaza massacre

LAHORE - Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has urged the UN and OIC to take immediate steps to stop the genocide of Palestinians at the hands of brute Israeli forces.  PTI Punjab president Ijaz Chaudhry and general secretary Dr Yasmin Rashid made this demand in a joint statement on Saturday.
They said that criminal silence of the Muslim nations over the genocide of the Palestinians was beyond comprehension and Muslim states under the banner of OIC should take immediate steps to stop killing of their Muslim brethren.
PTI leaders said the US, which claimed itself the champion of human rights also maintaining criminal silence over the massive violation of human rights in the Israeli murderous campaign against Palestinians.  They also asked the government to play its proactive role in the UN and OIC to stop their genocide.  Meanwhile, JI secretary general Liaquat Baloch has said that Israel’s bombings in Gaza and Rafah and massacre of the Palestinian women and children had broken all records of human rights violations. While the silence of the UN, US, and the Muslim world on the issue reflected the downfall of the human values.
Addressing an Iftar party, he urged the prime minister to summon a joint session of the Parliament, besides a summit of the political and religious parties, to chalk out a line of action for ending the Palestinians bloodshed and to unite the Muslim world.
Terming the Muslim unity as the prime need of the hour, JI leader urged the Muslim rulers to rise above the petty issues and join hands for the protection of the Muslim Ummah.
He said most of the Muslim world’s issues could be resolved if Pakistan, Turkey, Iran and Saudi Arabia were on one page.
