Application moved for FIR against rulers

LAHORE - Idara Minhajul Quran on Thursday filed an application with Faisal Town police for registering an FIR against the PML-N top leadership, important ministers and police high-ups for their alleged involvement in the killings of Minhaj workers.
Idara Minhajul Quran director administration Jawad Hamid filed the application with Faisal Town police, while PML-Q central spokesman Senator Kamil Ali Agha, eminent lawyer Dr Khalid Ranjha and Sunni Ittehad Council chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza accompanied the Minhaj administrator.
The application asked for the registration of an FIR against PM Nawaz Sharif, CM Shahbaz Sharif, MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Ministers, Khwaja Asif, Khwaja Saad Rafique, Chaudhry Nisar Khan, Pervaiz Rasheed, Abid Sher Ali, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, former CCPO Lahore, Shafique Gujjar, DIG Operations Rana Abdul Jabbar, SP Model Town Tariq Aziz and other police officers for their alleged involvement in the massacre outside the Minhaj Secretariat.
Talking to media men outside the police station, the PML-Q and SIC representatives said that they got the receipt No FB/B5/657 from Faisal Town Police Station’s Naib Moharrar Ansar Amin for the registration of an FIR.
They warned that political forces would take to streets if the FIR was not registered against the application filed by the Minhaj representative.
