LAHORE - Two young men were killed when a truck smashed into a motorcycle-rickshaw near Mohlanwal on the Multan Road yesterday.  Police identified the victims as 20-year-old Muhammad Asif and 22-year-old Shahzad. The bodies were later handed over to their families.

Both the men riding in a motorcycle-rickshaw were coming towards Thokar Niaz Baig when a speedy truck smashed into their three-wheeler from the rear side. They died on the spot. The truck driver managed escape. The police have impounded the truck and are investigating.
