LAHORE - The Nation Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria Pakistan Trust Chairman Dr Majid Nizami has urged the teachers to play their role in making youth patriotic and brave Pakistani.
He stressed the need for ideological training of the students along with their general education.
The NPT chairman expressed these views while addressing the Ideological Training Workshop of Senior Subject Specialists belonging to different districts of Punjab at Aiwan-i-Karkunan Tehrik-i-Pakistan on Thursday. Nazaria Pakistan Trust and the Aiwan jointly conducted the workshop.
Nizami told the teachers that the Nazaria Pakistan Trust management had requested the Punjab government for the teachers training, because, he added the teachers must be informed the purpose behind the creation of Pakistan so that they could further disseminate the ideology into the students.
“I believe the freedom is a great gift,” Nizami said, adding we could get rid of the hard days if we find the patriotic rulers”.
The veteran journalist advised the teachers to inform the students about the Pakistan Movement history as well.
Talking about first atomic power of the world, Nizami said Dr Qadeer Khan along with his other colleagues did the impossible. Earlier, Vice-Chairman Nazaria Pakistan Trust Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad told the teachers that the Trust activities were multidimensional.
He said we should be proud of our traditions and ideology.
He said the teachers are the asset of the country that could disseminate the trust’s message among the new generation successfully.
