A 27-year-old man died after he consumed poisonous liquor in huge quantity here in Nishtar Colony Area, police said on Friday.  Police investigators said that the man, identified as Zeeshan Masih, a resident of Yuhanabad, took liquor in excessive quantity when was ‘enjoying’ a get-together with his friends in Nishtar Colony police area. 
Suddenly, his condition got deteriorated and Zeeshan was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Wife of the deceased told the police that her husband died because he took poisonous liquor. The police have removed the body to the morgue for an autopsy and are investigating.
