LAHORE - The Government College University will hold its 10th convocation on Wednesday at the university's Bokhari Auditorium. Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa will chair the proceedings.
About 1300 students from graduation to PhD level would receive degrees, while 21 students will be awarded prestigious medals for their extraordinary excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.
GCU Controller Examination Dr. AS Bukhari said that this year as many as 63 position-holders are also being awarded academic certificates of distinction and merit, while 33 students would receive co-curricular and sports rolls of honour.
He added that the university administration has finalized arrangements for the Convocation 2012 and the full-dress rehearsal for the convocation would be held on 21 February.
