Mooting Nazaria-i-Pakistan

LAHORE - JAVED IQBAL - The inability to make country as per the thoughts of Quaid-i-Azam and Allama Iqbal resulted into Pakistan’s division. It is hoped that Bangladesh would be part of Pakistan again.
These views were expressed by The Nation Editor-in-Chief Dr Majid Nizami as chief guest at first session of the 6th three-day Nazaria-i-Pakistan Conference (NPC) organised by Nazria Pakistan Trust (NPT) at Aiwan-i-Karkunan Tehreek-i-Pakistan on Thursday.
Former president Rafique Tarrar, Col (r) Jamshed Ahmad Tareen, and Minister for Railways Khwaja Saad Rafique, Gen (r) Zulfiqar Ali Khan, Mian Farooq Altaf, Malik Ghulam Rabbani Aiwan, Prof Hamayon Ehsan, Dr Khalid Abbas and Shahid Rasheed addressed the ceremony. Prof MA Soofi, Mahnaz Rafi, former justice Munir Ahmad Mughal, Ch Naeem Hussain Chattha and a large number of people from all walks of life attended the sitting.

“Two-Nation Theory led to the creation of Pakistan and the theory was still working even after the separation of Bangladesh. Rulers next to Mujeeb’s daughter in Bangladesh would make a confederation with Pakistan,” he added.
Earlier, Nizami opened the conference proceedings by a flag-hoisting ceremony at the Aiwan. He was accompanied by Pakistan Movement workers and people from different walks of life.
Rafique Tarrar threw light on the creation of Pakistan. He said it was need of the hour to be united on Pakistan ideology.
