LAHORE – Mughalpura police (investigation wing) has busted a notorious criminal gang by arresting its three members and recovered snatched valuables worth million of rupees from their possession on Friday. The arrested dacoits have been identified as ringleader Zaheer Abbas alias Mitho and his two accomplices namely Nasir and Sajid. During preliminary interrogation, the dacoits have confessed to committing more than 14 crimes in different parts of the provincial capital and other districts of the Punjab.
In-charge investigation Inspector Chaudhary Azam Manhais told this reporter that following special directives by SP Civil Lines, a police raid was carried on a hideout of gangsters from where three notorious criminals were arrested.
