CM hails Pak, China friendship

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pak-China friendship is higher than Himalayas, deeper than ocean, sweeter than honey and stronger than steel.

He was addressing a special ceremony with regard to completion of 65 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China at Alhamra Hall yesterday. The function was arranged by Chinese Consulate.

The chief minister said that it is an honor for him to attend the ceremony at the completion of 65 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. He said that Pak-China friendship is unprecedented in the history. He said CPEC reflects confidence of Chinese leadership in Nawaz Sharif.

Shehbaz Sharif said that due to cooperation of China, the journey of progress and prosperity has started in Pakistan and will be completed at any cost. He said that let us forward Chinese President’s vision of ‘one belt one road’.

Chinese Consul General Yu Boren said that there are strong economic relations between Pakistan and China and Pak-China friendship has stood the test of time. He said that CPEC projects will usher in a new era of progress and prosperity. He said that Pakistan-China relations are touching new heights.

He said that participation of Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in the function reflects the increasing relations between the two countries. Provincial Ministers, Khawaja Ahmed Hasaan and prominent personalities of different walks of life were present on the occasion.
