LAHORE: Punjab Inspector General of Police Khan Baig on Wednesday closed two police officers to the central police office (CPO) as they failed to maintain law and order in Rawalpindi on Ashura.
According to officials, Jamat Ali Bukhari, SP (CIA) Rawalpindi has been transferred and closed to the Central Police Office. Similarly, Rawalpindi SSP (Operations) Sikandar Hayat was also closed to the CPO with immediate effect.–Staff Reporter
