Rulers fail to steer country out of crisis: ST

LAHORE Sunni Tehrik has accused the rulers that at a time when whole country is burning, they are engaged in their tug-of-war and unable to control the situation. The Tehrik has also expressed concern over the attacks on the shrines which speaks volumes of government failure. A specific group is working against Islam and Pakistan but the government has ignored its activities. Punjab Convener of the Tehrik, Muhammad Shadab while addressing members of the Coordination Committee said that target-killing in Karachi was aimed at destroying peace and stability of the country. He said both MQM and the ANP need to exercise restraint to maintain peace in Karachi which does not belong to Karachittes only but the whole Pakistani nation. He said the rulers must go home if they are not able to protect the citizens. The participants on the occasion also announced to take active part in the long march on October 16 against attack on Data Darbar and government failure to arrest the culprits. 'Zakat must be given to flood victims Jamiat Ahle Hadith Pakistan has said that the best use of Zakat is to help the flood affectees. Nazim of the Jamiat Hafiz Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer has said that at present flood victims and those marooned ones are the true deserving people of our Zakat money. He asked the philanthropists to also share their Zakat money with flood affectees side by side Madrassas, charity hospitals and charity institutions. He said our help to the people in distress and trouble would earn us forgiveness of Allah Almighty and steer us from the existing predicament.
