LAHORE - A 34-year-old foreigner, currently serving a jail term in Citys Kot Lakhpat Jail, died due to illness on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Faoos, a resident of Faisal Town and hailed from Tanzania. The deceased was arrested by Sattukatla police on charges of drugs pushing. Kot Lakhpat police removed the body to the City morgue for autopsy. Further investigations about the real reason of his death are underway. Man found dead: A 60-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Mughalpura police precincts on Sunday. The deceased, yet to be identified, was lying dead near Singhpura Fruit Market. Locals spotted the body and informed the police concerned. Police shifted the body to city morgue for autopsy. Police suspected that the deceased was a drug addict and died of excessive use of it. Boy crushed to death: A 10-year-old boy was crushed to death by a speeding car in Sabzazar police precincts on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Manual Masih, a resident of Jhugian Nagra. The deceased was crossing Liaqat Chowk when a speeding car hit him from behind. As a result, he received serious injuries. Driver of the car managed to flee from the scene. Locals rushed him to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police registered a case against unidentified car driver of the complaint of the deceaseds father namely Aslam Masih.
