Blue bull shifted to Changa Manga

LAHORE: Wildlife & Parks Punjab has shifted male blue bull caught at border areas of Kanganpur, district Kasur to Wildlife Park Changa Manga.
According to the details, Rangers informed the Wildlife Department about blue bull entering Pakistan from India in border areas of Kanganpur District Kasur.
Special team headed by Deputy Director Lahore Region Dr Anwar Gil, caught the blue bull and shifted to Changa Manga Wildlife Park.
Wildlife Director General Khalid Ayaz Khan lauded the performance of the team and announced to award commendatory certificates. –Staff Reporter

First liver tumor surgery at LGH

LAHORE: A mother of four kids underwent successful surgery for malignant liver tumors at Lahore General Hospital yesterday.
Azra Bibi, 28, was operated by Dr Sikandar Hayat Gondal, Dr Naeem Ahmed and their team. The surgery was carried out at an operation theatre in newly constructed Phase-III which has been equipped with modern machinery. Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof Khalid Mahmood congratulated the team for the first ever successful surgery of liver tumor at Lahore General Hospital.–Staff Reporter

PEF decided to cancel partnership agreements


LAHORE: The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has decided to cancel partnership agreements with the schools associated with its New School Program (NSP) and owned by government, semi-government/autonomous departments employees.
However, such partners are allowed to transfer their schools’ partnership to nearby relatives who are not in government service.–Staff Reporter
A circular issued by PEF Director (NSP) has directed all such partners to apply for transfer of partnership on a prescribed form by February 29. The form is uploaded at PEF official website.
After this date, partnerships will be revoked with NSP partner schools owned by the government employees.
