PML-Q dissolves party organisation

LAHORE - PML-Q Punjab president Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi yesterday constituted three committees for the reorganisation of the party after dissolving the offices of the party in the province.
Elahi chairing a meeting of party’s provincial chapter to devise a strategy for the reorganization formed three committees namely Upper Punjab, South Punjab and Central Punjab.
Muhammad Basharat Raja, Chaudhary Zaheer-ud-Din and Amir Sultan Cheema will steer the Upper Punjab Reorganizing Committee. Ahmed Yar Hiraj, Tariq Bashir Cheema and Muhammad Khan Leghari will lead party’s reorganization in South Punjab. Kamil Ali Agha, Mian Munir, Dr Azeem-ud-Din Lakhvi, Bao Rizwan, Maqsood Salehria, Tanvir Azam Cheema and Engineer Shahzad Elahi will look after Central Punjab.
The meeting decided that the reorganizational committees would visit their concerned districts and meet with local leaderships to get their inputs for choosing the new party office bearers. The committees would also nominate district organizers for assistance to reorganize the party.
It was also decided that the organizing committees would complete the process of reorganization in three months.
The committees would present their performance reports to Mr Elahi every fifteen days during the reorganization drive.
All wings of the party, kissan, labour, youth, women, doctors and minority were directed to make all out efforts for the success of the reorganization.
