Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif has directed all the DCOs and DPOs to seal those flour mills selling flour at rates higher than the fixed prices. In a high-profile meeting held here, Punjab chief minister ordered the officials taking stern actions against the profiteers selling flour costlier. He said that if the 20-kilo bag of flour was found sold at a price higher than Rs 375 after 48 hours, then action would be taken against the concerned DCO and DPO. Shahbaz Sharif directed food minister, Punjab Police IG, interior secretary and food secretary to tour the remote areas and find out the first hand facts on ground. He also directed constituting monitoring teams comprising of police, management and persons known for integrity.
