LAHORE A man was gunned down by his maternal nephews and their proclaimed offenders accomplices over old enmity in Manga Mandi police limits here on Tuesday. Two sons of the deceased were also killed by the same accused several months back and the murders were proclaimed offenders in that case. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ayub, resident of the same area. Police investigators believed the chief motive behind this gruesome incident was old enmity over property dispute. They said the accused including Waseem, Imtiaz and Mushtaq, residents of Kasur, two sons of Ayub a few months back and were pressurising the deceased to compromise. Ayub had flatly refused on which the accused started threatening to their uncle of dire consequences and ultimately they killed him on Tuesday, a neighbourer of the deceased commented when asked.
