PML-Q to participate in TNR rally

LAHORE - The PML-Q will take part in Tehfuzz Namoos-e-Risalat rally on January 30 while two coordination committees of the party have been formed for fully participating in the rally, announces PML-Q central secretary information Senator Kamil Ali Agha. He made this announcement while giving a media briefing on Saturday after attending a party meeting at Muslim League House held to devise a strategy for participating in the rally following the directions of PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and senior leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. Kamil said meetings would be held in all nine towns of the City to start preparations for taking part in the rally to be taken out from Nasir Bagh on January 30. He along with other PML-Q leaders demanded of the government to dissolve the parliament's committee headed by Shahbaz Bhatti to review the Blasphemy Law, while Sherry Rehman should be expelled from PPP if she refused to take back his bill regarding Islamic laws. The PML-Q leader said leaders and workers of his party would not hesitate from rendering any sacrifice to protect the Blasphemy Law. Mian Muhammad Munir, Arshad Lodhi, Mian Abdul Sattar, party ticket-holders and former nazimeen attended the meeting.
