Sketches declaration of Crusade against Muslims: Nizami

LAHORE - Sajjada Nasheen Aastana Aalia Choora Sharif Pir Syed Muhammad Kabir Ali Shah has stressed the need of an independent research board to present on the internet the noble and sublime character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for impartial and unbiased research on the same for the whole world so that it could know His greatness. He said the Muslims could compromise on every condition except on the honour and reverence of their beloved Prophet (PBUH). He was addressing a sitting held at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan in connection with worldwide protest on profane sketches on Saturday. Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust Majid Nizami especially participated while Vice Chairman NPT Dr Rafique Ahmed, Vice Amir Jamat-e-Islami Dr Farid Ahmed Paracha, Allama Ahmed Ali Kasuri, Maulana Raghib Naeemi, Prof Ghulam Sarwar Rana, Maulana Muhammad Shafi Josh, Prof Abdur Rehman Bukhari, Begum Bushara Rehman Dr M A Soofi and Allama Naseer Ahmed spoke on occasion. During speech Syed Kabir Ali announced to pay all expanses for the launching of such website which presented the life and character of holy Prophet (PBUH). Majid Nizami said the profane caricatures were a declaration of Crusade against the Muslims. He said the Hindus and the Jews were backing the Crusade between the Muslims and the Christians. He said mere condemnation statement by Foreign Office of the profane drawings was not enough especially for a country like Pakistan, which was created in name of Islam. He expressed disappointment with the Muslim rulers particularly Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan for not strongly condemning the act of blasphemy while he congratulated the Turkish youth who hacked the page of website that carried the sketches. Prof Ghulam Sarwar said the lack of unity among 57 Muslim countries offered opportunities to the enemies of Islam for doing such acts. He said despite all this it was miracle of Islam that it was the most spreading religion in the West. Dr Farid Paracha said the recent blasphemous act was not done for first time but such acts had started since the inception of Islam and the objective behind was to create disharmony, disunity and division among Muslims while the unity among the Muslims was the only solution of problems, he said. Allama Ahmed Ali said scarifying lives for the honour and respect of Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the real faith of every Muslim and they would not avoid sacrificing their lives in that course. He said the conspiracies were on to get the blasphemy laws abolished but they would never compromise on it and allow the authorities to do the same. Maulana Raghib Naeemi said the West was hatching conspiracies by producing profane images to torture the Muslims mentally and provoke them to take to the way of violence. He said the Jews were plotting such shameful acts. He asked for raising the profane images issues at the UNO. Maulana Shafi said the atomic Pakistan was capable of checking such blasphemous acts and, against such malicious acts of the West, unity of Muslims all over the world was the need of the hour. Bushara Rehaman said unfortunately our media was not being used for the preaching of Islam. She said agitations should continue against blasphemy and suggested for holding a sitting against blasphemy at Aiwan every month. Prof Abdur Rehman said the respect for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the foundation of two-nation theory. He said one of the objectives behind the creation of Pakistan was to protect honour and prestige of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Dr M A Soofi urged the Muslims to compete the enemies of Islam with Internet technology. Naseer Ahmed Qadri said Majid Nizami guided the nation in every difficult situation. He said Majid Nizami was also playing his due role against the profane sketches.
