LAHORE - The FIA Lahore has requested the ISI through the interior ministry to place the four cell numbers of Ayaz Khan Niazi, main accused of NIC scam, on Star Track System (STS) to arrest him. The FIA claimed the cell numbers were in use of Ayaz and his close friends, and through these mobile numbers the agency would manage to arrest the accused. Ayaz Khan Niazi would be arrested within couple of days, said a senior investigator seeking anonymity and claimed they were have reached very close to him. He said three cases were likely to be registered in Sindh against the NIC officials belonging to Karachi as corruption was also committed there. The FIA has arrested former federal minister Habibullah Waraich and his ten accomplices and two FIRs have been registered so far. An FIA officer said the interior ministry had issued red warrants of Mohsin Waraich, son of former minister Habibullah Waraich, to whom the court had also declared a proclaimed offender. Almost all the accused arrested were sent to jail but the accused of second FIR would be brought out of jail on Tuesday (today) to register their arrest in the second FIR and produce them before the court.
