LAHORE - Assembly members of various districts met Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, on Wednesday.
Talking to the elected representatives, the chief minister said that people had given a mandate of five years to the Pakistan Muslim League-N to serve the masses and resolve the problems being faced by the country and no effort should be spared in this regard. He said that the PML-N government would honour the mandate and come up to the expectations of the masses. He said that a stable democratic system was essential for national development and prosperity.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the PML-N leadership and workers had rendered innumerable sacrifices for the stability of democratic system and supremacy of constitution. He said that PML-N had always given preference to the interest of the country as it was unwise to set aside national interests for the achievement of personal ends. He said that PML-N government is determined to steer the country out of all crises. Those who met the Chief Minister included Raja Abdul Hanif, Zafar Iqbal, Naeemullah Gul, Nazia Raheel, Syed Mehfooz Mushhadi and Zubair Khan.
