LAHORE Administrator City District Government Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta distributed computerised food licenses among owners of 1,300 food outlets at a ceremony held here at Jinnah Hall on Friday. EDO Health Dr Fayyaz Ranjha, District Officer Food Dr Masood Ashraf, Chief Food Inspector Ayoub Chaudhry and other officials were also present. Addressing the ceremony, the Administrator said that the food license holders were bound to provide quality eatables to the consumers. He said that the CDG has so far received over 5,000 applications for food licenses. He said that the remaining licenses would be issued after completing necessary requirements.
