LAHORE: The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) held an extensive cleanliness and awareness campaign in the Lahore Zoo, city’s major and the most visited recreational point, in order to give it a neat and clean look and to sensitize tourists on anti littering.  Campaign led by LWMC Manager Communication Memoona Arslan Bhatti and Lahore Zoo Director M Naeem Bhatti consisted of cleanliness operation in the far and wide of  the Zoo, waste picking, camp installation, public briefing, leafleting, drawing competition, screening of cartoon film and documentary.  Zoo first time witnessed the mechanical sweeping and washing of its leading paths, buildings and walkways using state of the art machinery.–Staff Reporter
