LAHORE: Two men were found murdered from different parts of the provincial capital on Thursday. The investigators termed the killings, which took place separately, as blind murders stating that they were probing into the incidents to unearth the killers. A 45-year-old man was found shot in the head and lying in the bushes near Rani Village in Harbanspura area. Some passersby spotted the body, yet to be identified, on early Thursday and contacted the police by phone. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy. Police said they believe unidentified killer shot dead the man somewhere else and escaped after throwing his body in the bushes late on Wednesday night. The police have registered a murder case against unidentified gunmen and are investigating. In another incident, a man was found tortured to death in Sabzazar police limits. Police rushed to the spot soon after they received information that body of a man was lying in an empty plot near a factory in Awan Town. Later, the deceased was identified as Boota Masih, a resident of Green Town. Police said they also recovered a bottle of liquor from the crime scene.
