LAHORE - Justice Sh Azmat Saeed of the Lahore High Court on Friday sought reply from the Punjab Chief Secretary on a petition of Evacuee Trust Property Board Chairman seeking recovery of its land occupied by the provincial govt. ETPB Chairman Asif Hashmi, who is a PPP leader also submitted in his petition that the board owned a piece of land measuring 109 kanal situated at Jaranwala-Faisalabad Road. He said the Punjab govt took the land in its possession and started construction of a school. It has been prayed that the land of the ETPB be restored to it after getting recovered from the illegal possession of the Punjab govt. The next hearing will be held on July 26.
