'PML-N, PPP fighting to settle political scores'

LAHORE - PML-N and PPP are not fighting with each other for solving the problems of the masses but both the parties are attacking each other to settle their political scores. These views were expressed by Mian Asif, secretary information PML-Q (Like-Minded Group) Punjab while addressing a meeting of party workers at his office on Wednesday. He asked the federal finance minister to pursue the members of the federal cabinet for surrendering their motorcar fleets in order to used the funds of ministers transport pool for the welfare of the poor masses. Mian Asif said the incumbent government had failed to bring any positive change in the lives of the common man in the last two and half years and compelled the poor for committing suicides. Students laud CMs support A 46-member students delegation visiting European countries have said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has provided them an opportunity to get awareness of latest research in educational institutions and contacts with foreign students by sending them on a study tour of various universities. It was said by the spokesman of Punjab government on Wednesday. He said that the students expressed these views during their visit to universities of Stockholm, capital of Sweden. The students visited various educational institutions, recreational and historical places during their stay in Sweden. They also visited Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm where the teachers warmly welcomed them. It is worth mentioning that this Institute is a renowned research centre of science and technology. Two professors of this Institute informed the students about research activities being carried out there. Later, the students visited the Physics Department of Stockholm University where they were informed about the Space Physics and nuclear research.
