Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that his government would recover the government owned lands from illegal occupants and construct playgrounds for youth.
He was speaking during a high level meeting regarding sports and projects of Pakistan Hockey Association at Chief Minister tent office here in Lahore on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by MNAs, MPAs and high officials of various departments.
Shahbaz Sharif said that PML-N led Punjab government would introduce effective system for proper look after of the playgrounds.
He said that provincial government was planning to build separate playgrounds for both genders to provide them equal opportunities of sports.
Shahbaz said that steps taken to promote sports and horticulture would help the youth for taking part in positive and vigorous activities.
The chief minister stressed the need for guiding the youth and assisting them so as to save them from indulging in social evils and criminal activities.
