LAHORE - Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to Nadhra Shahbaz Khan, Mohsina Mirza and Humaira Rasheed in the subject of Art & Design, Applied Psychology (Clinical Psychology) and Clinical Psychology, respectively. Nadhra Shahbaz Khan D/o Shahbaz Ahmad Khan has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of Art & Design after approval of her research thesis entitled The Samadhi of Maharaja Ranjit Singh: The Significance of its Ornamental Program. She completed her thesis under the supervision of Dr Shahida Manzoor, Coordinator PhD Program, Research Centre, College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab, while her Co-Supervisor was Dr Barbara Schmitz, HEC Foreign Faculty, Department of Fine Arts, Lahore College for Women University. Mohsina Mirza D/o Mirza Aijaz Beg has been awarded with the PhD degree in the subject of Applied Psychology (Clinical Psychology) after approval of her research thesis entitled Development of Scale for Perceived Expressed Emotion and its Demonstration on Patients with Schizophrenia, Depression OCD & Normal Controls. She completed her thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar, Chairperson Department of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab. Humaira Rahseed D/o Rahseed Ahmad has been awarded with the PhD degree in the subject of Clinical Psychology after approval of her research thesis entitled Efficacy of Group Behavior Therapy and Group Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy in the Treatment of Shy Behavior in Adolescent Females. She completed her thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Nosheen K Rahman, Director Centre for Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab, while her Co-Supervisor was Prof Dr Hamid Sheikh, Department of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab.
