Level one coaching courses at regional level

LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board is conducting 12 Level-one coaching courses in a succession, especially designed for Club Coaches in all Regions including AJK. It is another endeavor by National Cricket Academy under its Game Education Programme for sports professionals to introduce modern coaching techniques at grassroots level. In the past, coaching and training of coaches at clubs and schools level has been a gray area. These courses will enable the participants to help the young cricketers playing at club level allover Pakistan. The NCA especially designed a programme for school coaches and has already imparted training to more than 300 school teachers around the country which was highly applauded. This was first time ever in the history of Pakistan Cricket that efforts are made to help the coaches involved with schools and clubs so that players could overcome their weakness by learning correct techniques at the start of their careers. Thirty participants will be selected from registered clubs by local regional associations in coordination with RDM / RGM and regional head coaches. It is a five days activity at each venue, which will be conducted by NCA panel of coach educators.
