Differences with PHF are now history: Islahuddin

LAHORE - Chairman national hockey selection committee Islahuddin Siddiqui said that his differences with the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) or the team management are a part of the past and now he wants the national team to give excellent performance in the Beijing Olympics. Talking at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore, former Olympian Islahuddin said that he is the part of the PHF and has forgotten the differences of the past. He said that the team has been selected with mutual consultation and all want to see the national team at the victory stand but the players need hard work for this. He said that prior to the Olympics, the team would play the Azlan Shah Cup and also tour Europe which would help it in making a strong combination.
